Not in Missoula? Not a problem.

If you’re in Montana and have an internet connection, we can make telehealth work.

Yes, online even for play therapy.

You may think of online therapy for adults and even families, but play therapy?

Yep.
It doesn’t look like sitting facing a screen like grown ups do. (I’ve stared up a lot of noses and at a lot of ceilings!)

We don’t even have to stay inside, as long as your child has connection. It’s fine to go for a walk if you feel safe about it.

Consider this:
Scavenger hunts. “Sand” tray using a baking dish filled with rice or beans, or if that is a sacred food for your culture, you can use small pea-gravel.
All you really need is a private space for your child, and some small things to play with - maybe pinecones, rocks and sticks, or toys, or stuffies, or whatever they love. Markers or crayons and paper can be useful too if your child likes art.

If you are in rural areas of Montana, where there aren’t many therapists, or have transportation barriers, or any other reason that makes in-person therapy a difficult option, online therapy may be right for your child, for your family, or for you.

Three people sitting together in a cozy room with wooden floors. One person is seated on the ground holding a gift while using a laptop placed on a woven pouf. Two others are on chairs; one is waving and holding a mug, the other holding a bowl of popcorn. Wrapped gifts are around them, and there are string lights on the dark wall.
